It demonstrates what you’ve learned in science (kindergarten-grade 10)
It reflects your academic skills and also the quality of education you’ve received
You will be recognized for passing the CIM at my high school graduation
You may be able to get extra-credit (check with your science teacher)
Achieving your CIM shows you’ve worked beyond what is needed for a high school diploma and is an asset for college and scholarship applications

When do I take the test? The initial try will occur during class time sometime in April

How long does it take to get results? You will find out your score immediately after the test

What score do I need to pass? 239

What if I don’t pass? You have the opportunity to re-take the test two times. The computer lab is available for re-taking tests both lunches and at 8:00 on late start days. See Mrs. Hatefi to schedule a re-take of the test.
