Planet Solusis

Hey everyone back home on Earth! How have you been lately? We've been gone for a year already, can you believe that? Time sure has flown by... literally. Out here on planet Solusis, we are a lot closer to our "sun" than Earth is to its sun. Planet Solusis also is a lot smaller than Earth so the days here are a lot longer. There are thirty-one hours in each day and all year round there are twenty-six hours of daylight each day. Everybody is having a blast here.

Stick Landscape

The part of Planet Solusis that we call "the stick" is warmer than the rest of the planet. The stick part of the planet has more vegetation and a few more animals than the frozen part of the planet. Since it is warmer, it is easier to live there. The climate on the stick never drops below 75 degrees, but it is usually in the 80's and 90's. That is all the information that I have for now about the stick.

Solar System

Our planet is surrounded by three other planets and the sun. The other planets are Candysmine, Gobstopzel, and Jellysium. Our planet is closest to the sun followed by Jellysium, Gobstopzel, and then Candysmine. We've been recently looking for other planets past Candysmine, but the telescopes that we have avilable don't have enough power to see past Candysmine.

Solusis

The Planet Solusis has a popiscle-like shape. The temperatures of the the upper portion of the planet are extremely low. This is because of its rotation and orbit around the sun. It never gets as close to the sun as "the stick". The lower portion of the planet is extremely hot. This is also because of its orbit and rotation.

Frozen Landscape

In the upper region of the planet, the climate is extremely cold all year round. The temperature never gets above 10 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature range is -30 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit. It never rains on Solusis, due to the cold weather, but it snows there very often. During the warmest part of the year, the temperature range is about -5 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit and during the coldest part of the year the temperature range is -30 to -10 degrees Fahrenheit.
