Hi, my name is Miranda Rodreguize, I am 27 years old and live in Brazil. Each day I discover new species of plants in the rainforest. I have lived in the rainforest since I was 13 years old with my father who was a doctor here for many years before retiring to go back home to the states. I was 20 when my father left, but I stayed to study the plants of the rainforest. I was chosen for this expedition because I am very experienced in the discovery of new and endangered plant species. After many years of practice, I have become an expert in being able to tell how plants can affect our lives.
