Unit 4 Solids Liquids & Gases
Objectives- Students will:
understand the kinetic theory of matter and how it relates to solids, liquids, & gases
understand changes in state
understand how to interpret vapor pressure curves, phase diagrams, and heating/cooling curves
be able to calculate the heat needed to cause changes in state
know the difference between endothermic and exothermic reactions and to calculate the heat produced in chemical reactions
