Course RequirementsAttendance Policy:

Late work is accepted only if the student has an excused absence.
No exceptions.
No make-up for a missed in-class activity, including but not
limited to:
oral readings, journal writings, surprise quizzes.
Other work may be assigned to make up for the lost grade,
provided the absence is excused.
No exceptions.
Exams may be made up provided the exam was missed due to an
excused absence.
It is the student's responsibility to request missed work.
It is the student's responsibility to request from a
classmate any information presented in class when the student was
absent.

Grading Policy:
Points accumulate for the entire semester.
Grades will be based on the following scale:
90% to 100% = A
80% to 89% = B
65% to 79% = C
50% to 64% =D
below 49% = F

Expectations:
Be on time ready to work
Honest work always
Keep a well organized notebook
Complete and turn in all assignments
All assignments are to be in blue or black ink or typed
