Absence: Two
days to make up the work for full credit.
Student is responsible for getting assignment.
Unexcused
Absence: One
detention; assignment counted as late.
Tardies:
Every three tardies results in a detention.
Excessive tardiness will be reported to administration.
~Know and Use Classroom Procedures.
~Follow THS Behavior Code and Expectations.
Consequences: Warning.
Conference with student.
Parent conference, detention, and/or
appropriate other consequence.
Discipline referral.
Grades: Based on total number of points earned from:
Daily
Assignments
Warm-ups
Quizzes
and Tests
Participation
Bonus
Grading Scale:
A =
90 -100% of possible points
B
= 80 - 89% of possible points
C
= 70 - 79% of possible points
D
= 55 - 69% of possible points
F
if below 55% of possible points
Late
Assignments will be accepted for reduced point value.
Make-up
Assignments for extra point value may be turned in with
original effort.
Make-up
Tests/Quizzes for grade improvement may be done if the
original test is returned with parent/guardian signature.
I will be available in Room 145 during Colt
Connections or during lunch for students who need help on assignments or for
make-up work. Special arrangements may
be made for appointments after school.
Parents and students should review these
guidelines, sign the back of this page and return to school by Wednesday, Sept 10.
