You are to write assignments down in your passport each day. There will be at least two passport checks 1st and 3rd quarters. Also assignments will be listed on the web - ths.sps.lane.edu/thshrs by teacher and class.
If you find you've made numerous errors, you should redo the assignment and resubmit it for additional credit. You are to show work when appropriate. **ONLY ONCE in a quarter will you be allowed to turn in an assignment late - after that NO LATE WORK IS ACCEPTED!!! Assignments are graded: (+) effort on all problems and 75% correct is worth 10 points, ( ) 50-75% correct is worth 5 points and (-) is worth 2 points. If you are absent it is your responsibility to get the assignment off the web or backboard - the previous week's assignments are there through Monday of the following week. When complete, correct it and turn it in the stacking baskets to be recorded before the chapter test.

Toward the end of each quarter an optional PORTFOLIO (a collection of 8 assignments in particular categories of your best work.) Worth approximately 20 points (25 with parent involvement) will be due 3-5 days after examples are shown.

WARM-UPS
It is important for you to be here everyday and ready to start class. Always try all the questions for possible extra credit. Warm-ups are collected on the last day of each week, usually Friday. If absence is excused write that on warm-up for the previous day, so it is not counted against you. If you are tardy or unexcused absence - there is no makeup, other than possible bonus points.
