20 Mile Radius Project Reports
These 20 Mile Radius Projects were done as a final project for Senior Writing
with Ms. Sundahl and Ms. Nelson. Periods
Three and Seven participated, and
the projects were completed over the majority of the second semester of the
1999 - 2000 school year. Topics were chosen by the students with the restriction
that the subject was within 20 miles of Springfield. The
Springfield Museum has printed copies of all of the following reports, which
differ slightly
from the web-adapted projects. Students were given complete creative control
in the design of their page. Each project contains a wealth of information
for anyone interested in the people, geography, and history of Springfield and
the surrounding areas. We are proud to present these, the 20 Mile Radius
projects of Periods Three and Seven.
